It's 4pm and you're craving a delicious latte, but you're nervous the caffeine will keep you awake all night. Here's a recipe for a delicious anti-inflammatory promoting latte using turmeric, cinnamon, ginger and honey. It's healthy and it's absolutely delicious. 1 tsp of turmeric

1tsp cinnamon

1 Tbs of honey/coconut sugar

Pinch of ginger (freshly ground or powder)

Your choice of milk


We love turmeric for it's vibrant orange color, but more importantly, it's anti inflammatory properties. Referred to as the 'new pumpkin spice latte' the turmeric latte can be enjoyed year-round. It has the warm, nostalgic flavor of a warm cup of milk and cinnamon you may have enjoyed as a child. Native to South Asia, turmeric can also be found in the supplement isle in your local grocery store. We love it in latte form, but it also tastes great if you substitute the milk for hot water and enjoy it in tea form.

Step 1:

In your favorite mug, combine the turmeric, cinnamon, honey and ginger

Step 2:

Add 3 oz of hot water and stir. We find that using a whisk works best to dissolve the turmeric powder and the rest of the ingredients

Step 3: 

On the stovetop, warm your choice of milk to 140 degrees

Step 4 (optional):

We just discovered this method for making foamy latte milk at home! Put your warm milk in a french press! Pump the french press so the milk is aerated and foamy

Step 5:

Pour the milk into the mug with your turmeric, cinnamon, honey and ginger concentrate. Top with cinnamon if desired
